In Search of Geographical Re-enchantment

During this lecture, widely acclaimed American landscape architect and urban designer Robin Winogrond will give an insight into her design approach. Under the working title In Search of Geographical Re-enchantment, her projects express the site specific, poetic potential of residual suburban and urban sites, transforming their inherent identity and contradictions into powerful experiences. Atmosphere, Identity of Place, and Social Urbanism are central to her projects. Her interdisciplinary background in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Architecture and Art is reflected in an array of projects, ranging from built urban spaces, installations and gardens to concepts for large and small-scale open space systems.

She is internationally recognized for award-winning projects, juries, lectures, teaching and publishing.

From 2019-2021 she taught at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
