Garden Tales
Garden Tales is a unique, free event that invites you to discover the secret of Brussels' gardens, and to rediscover the cityparks with a fresh perspective.
On Saturday 12 October, to mark the Night of Darkness, CIVA invites you to a unique evening of activities and reflections surrounding the richness of nocturnal biodiversity. An introduction to the sensitive world of the night, the beauty of twilit landscapes and a shared heritage of great fragility. On the programme: workshops, walks and bike rides, all opportunities to explore darkness and contemplate the issues raised by urban lighting.
Dreaming of the stars and the infinite universe? Continue the adventure at the Rouge Cloître by joining these passionate astronomers, Mira, Latitude 5050 and BxLunatics. The evening promises to be splendid !
On Sunday 13 October, the adventure continues in the elegant neighbourhoods of Schaerbeek and the discreet municipality of Evere. Although both neighbourhoods are densely urbanized, they are home to many gardens and natural areas. As part of Renature Time, a month devoted to nature in the city, residents committed to biodiversity will be opening the doors of their gardens, most of which are part of the Nature Network. A number of guided walks will round off this wholly autumnal programme.
