Garden Tales
Garden Tales is a unique, free event that invites you to discover the secret of Brussels' gardens, and to rediscover the green spaces with a fresh perspective.
Wednesday 14 May: An inaugural lecture will launch Garden Tales as part of Brussels Art Deco Year. This will be an opportunity to examine the impact of this major aesthetic movement on Belgian gardens.
Sunday 18 May: We will continue to explore the subject by visiting a selection of parks and private gardens in and around Brussels from the interwar period. Join us as we delve into twentieth-century garden design, discussing urban issues and the preservation of our landscape heritage.
For this special event, we are proud to partner with the Art Deco @ Home Festival organised by the Boghossian Foundation-Villa Empain, Van Buuren Museum and Gardens, Horta Museum, Autrique House, and Brussels Art Deco Society, which is coordinating Art Deco Week on 12-18 May.
Sunday 22 June: We will celebrate the summer solstice by admiring the play of light, shade and colour that comes with the summer months. => Programme and bookings from 23 April
Sunday 14 September: We will explore new aspects of the urban fabric of Brussels, discovering the potential of the outdoor spaces revisited by firms aware of current environmental issues. => Programme and bookings mid-August
