Model making, photography, exploration in the city workshop

During this workshop, participants will try to take a curious and different look at the biodiversity that also populates the city. With their senses and different techniques of expression (drawing, writing, photography, collage), they will create narratives from what their environment tells them!

In Brussels, we cohabit with countless species that we don't always pay attention to. From the decorative plants on the balconies to the domesticated trees in the hedges, from the invisible insects to those weeds that are said to be weeds, our urban environment is full of stories that have yet to be written and friends that we have yet to meet. What are their stories? What do they have to tell us about their worlds?

WORKSHOP IN FRENCH.

Animators: Elias and Auranne.

Elias completed his entire artistic career at the Graphic Research School in Brussels where he finished his master's degree. Since he was a child, he has been fascinated by huts but also by the great construction sites of the city. In recent years, he seeks through his artistic work to draw attention to contemporary issues of ecology and to renew a sensitive relationship with the living world that sometimes seems far from us when we live in the city.

Auranne, interior designer, is passionate about the multitude of ways to "inhabit" a space and the variety of architectural and artistic representations linked to it. She willingly experiments with natural and recycled materials using participatory design methods. For her, transmitting and accompanying our young minds in the development of their ideas is a pleasure.
