Brugmann hospital's therapeutic garden was initiated by Marie-Dominique Gazagnes, a doctor devoted to her patients. The garden recently sprang up from the ground and is in a state of perpetual metamorphosis. It will evolve according to the needs of the patients, their families, and the nursing staff who support them. For treatments that require neuro-rehabilitation, patients can practice walking on Brussels cobblestones, crossing curbs, and navigating all sorts of changing surfaces - gestures that are part of our daily lives but which, after a stay in hospital, can be overwhelming challenges. In the company of its founder, come visit this peaceful haven where, between a collective vegetable garden and flowering trees, patients find their bearings at their own pace before returning home.
