The creation of the Brussels Park and the neoclassical district that surrounds it was a key moment in the history of landscape architecture and the urbanization of the capital. The scale, coherence and quality of the project make it one of the major examples of late-eighteenth-century public parks preserved in Europe. Garden Tales invites you on a guided tour of this emblematic Brussels green space and its surroundings to discover how this park is not an isolated landscape creation, but was designed with a view to developing the city in the public space through an elaborate dialogue between plants, roads and buildings.
