Regenerative Assembly

How can we rethink the economy of creation, its links with the environment and new technologies, to generate a positive impact for the planet? In partnership with CIVA, the Fondation Thalie is inviting artists, designers, activists and thinkers to a morning of round tables dedicated to the new narratives of climate transition and bio-inspired design.

Conversation with Aléa (Miriam Josi and Stella Lee Prowse), Bento Architecture, Thierry Boutemy, Magali Payen, Marie Peltier, Moffat Takadiwa and Natsuko Uchino. Moderated by Nathalie Guiot and Yann Chateigné Tytelman.

4 pm: Exhibition walks at Fondation Thalie with the curators, scenographers and artists, Bento Architecture, Thierry Boutemy and Natsuko Uchino.
The exhibition's curators, artists, designers and scenographers invite you to take a stroll through works in the collection, new commissions and video installations that open up new ecological narratives. This is an opportunity to discover the textile practice of Japanese artist Natsuko Uchino, whose work, presented in wool and made from plant dyes, echoes the links between the rural world and artisanal initiatives; Thierry Boutemy, a landscape artist who has worked extensively for the fashion and film industries, is exhibiting a plant installation (presented as part of Bar Luna, an exhibition by director Alice Rohrwacher at the Centre Pompidou in December 2023). The Brussels studio Bento Architecture has also come up with an ecoscenography based on living, natural and bio-sourced materials. The collective will be giving details of this project, based on the circularity of materials and designed with the help of a group of people on social integration schemes, as part of a participative worksite that translates the potential of regenerative architecture into action.
