Feelings maps
You walk through town and take a corner at random. All of a sudden, you see a vast landscape in front of you. You have reached the top of a hill and did not expect this. The wind whistles past your legs and clouds pop up in front of your eyes. Sunlight flickers on the windows down the valley, you smell the scent of trees. As you look ahead, you remember again the road you took, the intriguing things you saw before you arrived here.
During this workshop, we explore how to capture the perception of a place. How we can translate smells, textures, memories and emotions associated to it, into a map that also expresses feelings.

Luka is a performance and sound artist with a love for writing and graphic techniques. She studied graphics and performance at KASK and started an educational master's at Luca school of arts this year. Luka's artistic journey is an exploration of the human body, exploring its profound inner connections and these to others and the surrounding environment.
Eva studied architecture and researched spaces in paintings for her PhD, drawing and modelling frequently. She teached for some time and is currently back in school herself for a postgraduate degree in cultural heritage. She is also passionate about textiles and leather. She loves to work with children and to seek for wonder with them through creative explorations.
