PICMOL RESIDENCE

At the corner of Avenue Molière and Rue Edmond Picard stands an opulent building, designed and built by Fernand Petit in 1924. In a traditionalist style with Art Deco influences, the building now houses an artists' residence, the surroundings of which have been landscaped by Erik Dhont. Working with plants, furniture and materials, the landscape gardener has successfully enhanced the potential of these tiny spaces, making them a true extension of the studio. In the summer months, the inner courtyard and front garden become pleasant work and meeting spaces for the designers during their residencies.
