HOTEL WIELEMANS
An Andalusian garden in the heart of the Belgian capital

© CIVA Collections
The Wielemans had their Brussels residence built after an enchanting trip to Andalusia, commissioning prolific architect Adrien Blomme to design their townhouse in 1924. Boasting a remarkable Art Deco style with Hispano-Moorish influences, the house and garden managed to survive the twentieth century before gaining listed status in 1994.
A true extension of the large central patio, the garden, along with the house, has recently undergone a complete restoration. The fountains, ponds, molten glass mosaics and shingle paths have been restored to their former glory, transforming this small Andalusian garden into a unique peaceful haven.
