CIVA en de Faculteit Architectuur van de KU Leuven slaan de handen in mekaar om een reeks lezingen te organiseren over landschapsarchitectuur in Europa. Een aantal voorname beoefenaars zullen er spreken over hun expertise en het ontwerpen in een stedelijke of urbaniserende context. De reeks past enerzijds in de MaHS-MaUSP postgraduaat-programma's van de KU Leuven. Anderzijds kaderen ze in de lopende CIVA-tentoonstelling Designed Landscapes — Brussels 1775-2020. De lezing Of Passage van Catherine Mosbach maakt hier onderdeel van uit.

A landscape opens to the fluid brewings of our planet earth, the work of water, snow, wind, soil, light, impromptu sprouts etc. His design process must be open to the work of time and elements. It is essential to 'draw', to 'anticipate' the effects of living processes so as to bring the visitors’ consciousness into contact with the temporalities of the elements. The technologies of contemporary worlds tend to extract us from realities and to drag us into virtual worlds without criticism, until when they completely absorb us and we forget our own bodies and sensitive relationships with the physical worlds that welcome us.
