Alternative Histories x Negotiating Ungers

The exhibitions Alternative Histories and Negotiating Ungers have similar starting points: both focus on architectural design as a practice of re-writing, using a (often historical) frame of reference. This design practice based on reinterpreting existing ideas or documents is opposed to the idea of starting from scratch, which marked the beginning of this century. It's this notion of continuity rather than rupture that will nurture the discussion with the curators from both exhibitions, including a guided tour!
