Between Avenue de l'Exposition and the nature reserves of Bois du Laerbeek, Poelbos and King Baudouin Park, the city has expanded to include residential areas such as the Jardins de Jette and the UZ university and hospital site. Several initiatives are helping to make room for nature (Ylo Park, Jardin des méditations). Links either already exist or still need to be developed between private gardens, kitchen gardens, public spaces and protected areas.

On this pleasant walking tour, accompanied by a guide, you can (re)discover this district and look for places where individual and collective action can be taken to promote biodiversity, as well as examples of where such positive action has already been taken.
