I’m in shape here

Summer is in town, and I want to get out. I want to go on a trip. But where will I sleep and eat? And what if it's windy or if it rains? Suppose I build myself a little house? What would I absolutely want to take with me, and how do I give it a place? Shall I try it on a smaller scale first? I could start with a sheet of paper. I want an opening in it. Here's a pair of scissors.
During this workshop we examine how we can live small, so that we have more space outside. What space do we actually need? Let's draw, cut, fold, paste. If we start from movement, we might arrive at an unexpected shape!

Marijke graduated as an art historian, specialised in architecture and visual arts. She likes to transmit the passion for Brussels to her schoolchildren from Anderlecht and guides city walks and seminars on urban themes. Besides ‘touring’ the capital, she is also an avid ‘paper lover’ who enjoys sharing her love of colours and patterns with a young audience!
Kaat is graduating this year in heritage studies. The common thread running through that degree is landscape heritage and urban planning. She is also an experienced animator of both young and less young people. She is passionate about bringing people, and especially young people, into contact with their own heritage and encouraging them to think critically about their environment.
