In an instant

When I look through a window, I see a slice of the world. What I don't see, I sometimes just make up. In this way, I see all sorts of images through the day, they look like photos or fragments of a film. In my head, they accumulate to form a large collection. They create a story there. I scramble them, and lay them out in varying combinations.
During this workshop you learn to build a story, starting from an observation of the city. You will write a scenario along with others and create a setting to shape your story step by step, in stop motion.

Laura is an interior architect and enjoys sharing her passion for (interior) architecture and visual arts with young people. She is active as a secondary school teacher and also organises visual workshops. Laura attaches great importance to the creative process, which she believes is at least as valuable as the end result; a thought in which she is fully supported at CIVA.
Robin developed during his architecture studies, a fascination for the influence of spatial perception on emotions and experiences. In his teaching practice, he translates this sensitivity into educational methods that encourage pupils to actively look, feel and experiment. He searches for learning environments in which space is not only the subject, but also a means to stimulate imagination and discovery.
