A Midsummer Workshop

It’s easy to imagine a thousand fantastic creatures hiding in the hidden corners of the magnificent Van Buuren Museum garden.
Winding paths, bushy labyrinths and sculpted stones become the perfect stage for inventing magical stories.
These stories, we’ll bring to life by drawing, gluing, modeling—as much as possible, right there in the garden.
Spirals and concentric circles are everywhere in Nature, so let’s ask her to guide us on our creative journey.
Tree bark will inspire our settings, and it turns out stones can become our canvas. Leaves and seeds turn into puppets, and even the shadows they cast will be part of the adventure.
