Weaving, braiding, creating - SOLD OUT
Basketry, sculpture and nature workshop
During this workshop, participants will create basketry objects, shelters made of plant materials inspired by nature. The program will include weaving, discovering nature in the city and creativity.
For hours, inside my house, I've been observing every detail of this basket placed near the sofa. Is it made of rattan or wicker? How is it made? I tell myself that it must take a lot of time and patience to weave this beautiful object. I heard you have to pick, cut, knot, and weave but also to handle plants, to be inspired by nature to create wild and crazy forms.

BILINGUAL WORKSHOP FR/NL
Animators: Auranne and Julie.
Auranne, interior designer, is passionate about the multitude of ways to "inhabit" a space and the variety of architectural and artistic representations linked to it. She willingly experiments with natural and recycled materials using participatory design methods. For her, transmitting and accompanying our young minds in the development of their ideas is a pleasure.
Julie is an educator and psycho-social worker. Her approach is enriched by two years of nature animation in an educational farm and the study of permaculture. She is trained in animal mediation. Julie practices basketry and transmits this craft with a sensory approach.
