Should the debates on the objective of Zero Net Artificialization (ZAN) be understood as a threat to urbanization or, on the contrary, as an opportunity to reshuffle the deck? The history of urban landscaping shows us that there are ways to imagine new urban forms designed from the soil.
Indeed, considering soils in urban planning could perhaps lead us towards new ways of collaboration between territories and the actors concerned. This book by Patrick Henry opens up new perspectives on urban design, defining an urbanism defined by much closer observation and interaction with the soil.

Patrick Henry is an architect, urban planner and teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville , and will be closed by the projection of the film "Super Terram, saison 1 : les sols de Schaerbeek Formation" (12', with the presence of the film director Valerianne Poidevin).
The booklaunch will be followed by a round table discussion with Said El Fadili (Brussels Environment) and Ananda Kohlbrenner (Super Terram).
