The garden of the Parador

This modernist villa by architect Jacques Dupuis is considered one of the first major buildings to have been erected in post-war Belgium. The garden, which combines truly modern features with more picturesque ones, highlights the building magnificently.

Don’t forget to complement your visit with a trip to CIVA, where you can discover the first monographic exhibition dedicated to Simone Guillissen-Hoa. Although she didn’t join Jacques Dupuis until 1952, shortly after the construction of the Parador, this modernist architect left her mark on many Brussels municipalities with her inventive creations. A great excuse to rediscover the garden of the Parador, a true architectural and landscaping manifesto.
