A collection such as CIVA´s is both a space that preserves artifacts and a space for debate. Today there is an urgent need to recontextualize collections within the contemporary conditions, or in other words: to connect the archival material to a context which is marked by climate change, decolonialism, technological disruptions, and struggles for participation.
